BANGKOK – Roojai, a leading digital insurance platform in Thailand, has announced the successful acquisition of DirectAsia Thailand from Hiscox Group. This strategic move brings together a combined portfolio of over 300,000 motor insurance customers, significantly strengthening Roojai’s market presence.

Founded in 2016, Roojai has been at the forefront of transforming the Thai insurance industry by offering simple, affordable, and reliable online insurance solutions. Through its innovative platform, customers can access personalized quotes, customize coverage, file claims, and make payments seamlessly. The acquisition aligns with Roojai’s ambitious growth strategy to expand its customer base and solidify its leadership in the digital insurance market. This follows Roojai’s previous acquisition of FWD General Insurance Public Company Limited in 2023, which was rebranded as Roojai Insurance Public Company Limited in 2024, establishing Roojai as the largest full-service digital insurer in Thailand with a focus on retail insurance products.
