The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is thrilled to announce the launch of the highly anticipated “AMAZING ULTIMATE FESTIVAL.” This exciting event aims to deliver an unparalleled fun experience, featuring a wide range of creative activities set against the breathtaking backdrop of four coastal areas: Phang Nga, Phuket, Songkhla, and Prachuap Khiri Khan.
The “AMAZING ULTIMATE FESTIVAL” is a key highlight of the “Year of Thai Tourism 2023” campaign, designed to offer visitors new and unforgettable travel experiences enriched with arts, music, sports, culture, and recreation. By harnessing the unique identity of each location, this event aims to stimulate travel, instill confidence in tourists, and generate an estimated income of 140 million baht throughout its duration.

According to Mr. Apichai Chatchalermkit, Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, expressed that the TAT recognizes the potential in employing creative activity strategies to attract tourists and provide them with enriching and meaningful travel experiences. This aligns with the objective of reinforcing the excitement of the “Year of Thai Tourism 2023” campaign, promoting “365 Days, Amazing Thailand.” Consequently, the eagerly anticipated event, the “AMAZING ULTIMATE FESTIVAL”, is scheduled to take place, utilizing the power of art and music to create a harmonious blend that brings joy and happiness to attendees.
The TAT aims to present a diverse range of tourism activities that creatively cater to the interests of tourists. These activities align with the concept of experiential tourism and are tailored to the unique identities of different regions, specifically Phang Nga and Phuket, which focus on Sport Tourism. Songkhla and Prachuap Khiri Khan provinces, on the other hand, offer a range of recreational events and host Recreation Festivals. These initiatives aim to stimulate tourism for both Thai and foreign visitors, encouraging spending during travel and generating economic benefits for local communities. By showcasing the potential of each area and fostering confidence in domestic travel, the events scheduled between June and July 2023 contribute to a safe and enjoyable travel experience within the country.
The “KHAOLAK SURF FESTIVAL 2023” taking place from June 16th to 18th, 2023, at MEMORIES BEACH in Khao Lak, Phang Nga province. Attendees can compete in exhilarating surf competitions for a chance to win a total prize money of over 220,000 baht. The festival will also feature captivating performances by renowned artists such as KHAN THAITANIUM, TWOPEE SOUTHSIDE, VALENTINA PLOY, LAZYLOXY & SAMBLACK, TONTRAKUL, and MAIYARAP.
Phuket Province will host the “PHUKET SURF CONTEST 2023” at Kata Beach from June 23rd to 25th, 2023. Surfers can showcase their skills and vie for a total prize money of over 220,000 baht. Attendees can also revel in energetic live performances by ATOM, TWOPEE SOUTHSIDE, ZOM MARIE, WHAL & DOLPH, TONTRAKUL, PIXXIE, and many more talented artists and DJs.
The enchanting “SONGKHLA BEACH LIFE 2023” festival will take place from July 7th to 9th, 2023, at Chalatat Beach in Songkhla Province. Indie tourists will be delighted by a range of beach activities set amidst a pine forest, including subboard paddling workshops and live concerts by acclaimed artists like SAFEPLANET, MUSKETEERS, HYBS, DEPT, LOSERPOP, and YOURMOOD.
Finally, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province will host the “HUAHIN BEACH LIFE 2023” festival from July 21st to 23rd, 2023, at Hua Don Beach in Khao Takiab. This event will provide HIPSTERs with a blissful beach experience featuring a SUP CLINIC and unforgettable beachside performances by THE TOYS, VIOLETTE WAUTIER, ZOM MARIE, MUSKETEERS, WHAL & DOLPH, LOSERPOP, and various other artists and DJs.
Additionally, the event caters to food and shopping enthusiasts by organizing a FOOD ZONE where renowned local restaurants gather to serve delectable dishes, and a SHOPPING ZONE offering stylish BEACH ITEMS for shoppers to indulge in.
Furthermore, TAT has arranged CSR – AMAZING THAILAND BEACH CLEAN UP activities in all areas, advocating for tourists to collectively take care of the environment in tourist destinations, adhering to the principles of responsible tourism.
TAT anticipates that the event will stimulate domestic tourism, attracting a minimum of 50,000 attendees across all four areas and generating an estimated revolving income of approximately 140 million baht.
